the logo in my site's banner was something i had in my mind for a long time (since 2023, goodness), which i never put into use because i had nothing to use it on

and an aside about the robot "mascot" (?), it's crazy to think that was an offhand doodle i made 5 years ago...

i got a hiby r1 a few days ago, and i'm really enjoying it so far. i immediately put rockbox on it so i could use the scrobbler... but i've been having some frustrations with it (it just exports a blank .scrobbler.log, i don't know why)

my birthday was a few weeks ago (february 20th). now that i've reached the ripe old ancient age of 23, it feels like my life has just begun but it's also so over

anyways i lied about the site redesign from before, i'm settling with this so i don't have to sacrifice as much

dualbooting arch and windows on my laptop led to me being the most productive i've been in years; so of course in true fashion i nuked my drive. i only have 256gb so it got really cramped. i'd love to upgrade but nvme drives have gotten real pricey, and i'm not willing to sacrifice any of my organs (yet)

made some adjustments to the stylesheet, so while it's still probably the size of a postage stamp on a 4k monitor (i don't have one to test with), it's at least centered.

i've been working on a redesign that'll hopefully squash the issue completely, but i'm a bit hesitant on using it since the changes are so drastic. Oh well, sometimes you have to make sacrifices . That's how the Cookie Crombles.

maybe i'm cornplating but i've been replaying unreal, and i never noticed that it gradually turns nighttime as you go through the levels

for some reason i always get gloomier around christmas time. maybe it's the weather, maybe it's the feeling of being alone, maybe it's the realization of "oh damn, the year is almost over". whatever the reason is, shit sucks

trying to shake off my art block, and after a few hours of starting something and then scrapping it, it feels like my brain is leaking out of my head

i tried looking for the source files for all my bryce art, which i swore i backed up. when i went to look in the folder where i thought i'd copied them, there was nothing there. Uh oh. there's only one other place where i think they could be, and that's on a dead hard drive. Uh oh
